Workin' Downtown

Here's my new home for the duration of the project I'm working on. I'll probably be here for a month or so.

The guy on the Segway was giving out free bowls of Honey Bunches Of Oats. I followed him for a couple of blocks wishing I had a segway to catch up with him and get me a bowl. I didn't succeed.

















This guy is always hanging out on the street corner in a very expensive suit. He is yelling at the street lights in what seems to be some kind of preaching banter. After a good scolding the light turns green and he makes his way across the street to start his routine on the next light.

















I'm very excited about working in downtown because I can finally take the light rail to work. I don't think I've filled up my gas tank in almost a month. (See, Houston IS better than Austin...environmentally speaking of course) We put our money where your mouth is, Austin. Where is YOUR light rail? :P
